Cal. 44 CF. S# 42171. Bbl. 24" octagon. Sporting front sight w/ replacement fixed rear sight. Full length mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent brass trapdoor buttplate. Mfg. 1870. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube have faded brown finish showing numerous dents & handling marks. Action shows evidence of polishing & is reacquiring a mild patina. Stock & forearm show dents & handling marks. Forearm is cracked near tip & action. Functioning action w/ broken firing pin. Bore has a lightly frosted appearance retaining sound rifling. (01-26399/DS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
